Ashton Kutcher: ‘Justin Bieber is starting to get a little ‘Single White Female”

Ashton Kutcher is nonplussed that Justin Bieber considered buying the house he had been renting. In fact, Kutcher says that his “Punk’d” protege’s emulation is starting to get “a little ‘Single White Female.'”

“He’s trying to steal my swag though, I swear,” Kutcher said while appearing alongside Bieber on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” earlier this week to hype the premiere of their rebooted prank series “Punk’d,” premiering tonight on MTV.

“I found this amazing house in LA and booked it to stay in for like three months,” Kutcher continued. “So I was away and had booked the house, it was all done, and all of a sudden my assistant tells me there’s someone coming to look at my house to maybe buy it. Then I get a text from this [Bieber] and he’s in my house, checking it out. I was like, ‘Why are you trying to take my house out from under me?’ … I had to buy the house because I thought he was going to buy it and I was like, ‘I don’t want to lose this house.'”

When Kimmel suggested that the two live together, Kutcher said, “He’s not ready.”

“I’m 18, man,” Bieber replied. “You could train me.”

Kutcher shot back, “21 is the threshold.”

The “Two and a Half Men” star said that the pair’s relationship was becoming “a little ‘Single White Female’,” referencing the 1992 thriller in which Bridget Fonda’s new roommate, Jennifer Jason Leigh, becomes homicidally obsessed with her. Kutcher pointed out than in addition to looking at his house, Bieber also recently purchased the same car he drives.

But Bieber got perhaps the biggest laugh of the night when he revealed, “I was maybe three or four or something,” when the original edition of “Punk’d” aired, leading show veteran Kutcher to stand up and dramatically pretend to walk with a cane.
