Hours after a Los Angeles judge told Lindsay Lohan to “stop nightclubbing and focus on your work” when she was released from supervised probation this week, the actress celebrated her newfound freedom in classic Lohan fashion — she threw a party at a private penthouse at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont.

On Thursday, Lohan had her formal probation relating to a 2007 drunk-driving offense lifted. Page Six reported yesterday that, after the court hearing, she had lunch at the fabled hotel with her sister, Ali. But she returned later that night to throw a private party for about 50 friends. Sources say guests, including Brandon Davis, arrived at midnight and stayed until 3 a.m. Alcohol was served, but Lohan didn’t appear to be drinking. “She had a small gathering to thank her friends, family and team for their support,” her rep said in a statement. Lohan will appear in an upcoming episode of “Glee” and has been cast in an Elizabeth Taylor movie, “Liz and Dick,” for Lifetime.
