Minka Kelly may have killed all hope of a reconciliation with Yankee captain Derek Jeter as she continues to spend more time with playboy Wilmer Valderrama.
Kelly and Valderrama flew to Australia and partied together at the opening of Marquee-The Star at Sydney’s Star Resort this weekend. They joined Paris Hilton, Joe Jonas, Kellan Lutz, Nick Lachey and a pregnant Vanessa Lachey at the new megaclub run by the Tao Group, which brought Lavo, Tao and Marquee to the night-life masses.
Kelly and Jeter split in August after three years, but were spotted by The Post on a romantic reunion in Paris last December. While the couple was caught canoodling on Paris streets and taking in the sights, we’re told the spark fizzled again soon after that. Kelly has since moved to LA, while Jeter has focused on spring training in Florida.
“She’s single and having a good time,” a source said of Kelly, adding that she and Jeter “headed in different directions after Paris.”
Kelly has recently been spotted with notorious ladies’ man Valderrama, who was previously linked to Demi Lovato, Lindsay Lohan and Mandy Moore. Sources tell us the two are keeping things casual. “They are trying to keep it low-profile for now. Nothing serious,” one said.
Onlookers at Marquee-The Star told us the “Friday Night Lights” actress and Valderrama, who’s in the new NBC drama “Awake,” stuck to separate rooms at the club Thursday.
Kelly was seen leaving the club at about 2 a.m. with Ashlee Simpson, while Valderrama danced with Jermaine Dupri to DJ Afrojack’s set until much later.
The trip Down Under for the two stars follows an outing together to Greystone Manor in LA in mid-March, where they were seen flirting and dancing before leaving together. Kelly also attended Valderrama’s birthday party at Avenue in New York in February. A rep for Kelly couldn’t be reached.
