Jennifer Lawrence is not your typical America’s Sweetheart.
“The Hunger Games” star appears on the cover of the upcoming issue of Rolling Stone, looking very laidback in a T-shirt and pair of jeans. In addition to the au natural image, Lawrence lets her true colors show on a horseback riding expedition for the cover story.
“Dude! I’m lost as [bleep]!” Lawrence says while trying to find the stable. “Where the hell is this place?”
In the article, several of Lawrence’s co-stars confirm that the actress, who was nominated at age 20 for her role in “Winter’s Bone,” bluntly expresses whatever is on her mind.
“When I got cast, she called me up for one of those five-minute ‘Excited to work with you, blah, blah, blah’ things,” says Josh Hutcherson. “The conversation started with her saying, ‘Think about a catheter going in – ouch!’ and then turns into a 45-minute rant about zombies and the apocalypse.”
Lawrence’s “X-Men: First Class” co-star Zoe Kravitz seconds the diagnosis of her friend Lawrence, who also got to work with her rocker father Lenny Kravitz while filming “The Hunger Games.”
“I’d met her a few times, and she was like, ‘You should come over and we’ll hang out,'” remembers Zoe Kravitz. “So I go over to her apartment, and she opens the door in a towel. She’s like, ‘Come in, sorry, you’re early, I was about to shower.’ And she drops her towel and gets in the shower, and starts shaving her legs, totally naked. She was like, ‘Are we here yet? Is this OK?’ And I was like, ‘I guess we’re there!'”
