Sofia Vergara has become engaged to her boyfriend Nick Loeb as she celebrates her 40th birthday in Mexico.
Sources tell Page Six that businessman Loeb proposed after they jetted out to the Riviera Maya with a huge group of friends and family for her birthday celebrate her milestone.
On Monday night Vergara showed off a giant diamond ring on her left hand in a photo posted on her friend Fernando Fiore’s Twitter account.
Page Six revealed Vergara and Loeb, who considered a 2010 run for Florida’s senate. briefly split in May after a series of arguments about the future of their relationship, but they reconciled after a few weeks.
Another source tells us, ”Nick had been shopping for rings before they left for Mexico.”
A rep for Loeb had no comment, Vergara’s rep didn’t immediately get back to us.
