Comedian David Spade has a serious side.
We hear he’s an art collector and just sold off a Peter Beard piece for $750,000.
The 1968 large-format gelatin silver print, “Orphan Cheetah Triptych,” shows images of adorable baby cheetahs amid ink, blood, snakeskin and “various collage elements.”
Spade also owns Beard images of Brigitte Bardot and Jackie Onassis as well as work by Richard Prince.
The same piece previously set a world-record price for Beard when it sold in 2012 for $662,500.
