Trudie Styler speaks candidly about ‘a nice group of penises’ at luncheon

Trudie Styler spoke in usual candid fashion at the Central Park Conservancy luncheon Monday afternoon at the Mandarin Oriental, where she was interviewed by Harper’s Bazaar Editor-in-Chief Glenda Bailey. While discussing her yoga practice, Styler acknowledged the few men in the room including Olivier Theyskens, Derek Blasberg, Conservancy president Doug Blonsky and accessories designer Richard Lambertson, as a “nice group of penises that I see” among the mostly female audience. The well-dressed ladies who howled at her observation included Alina Cho, Jamie Tisch, Gillian Miniter, Anne Harrison, Marcia Mishaan, Fe Fendi, Van Cleef & Arpels’ Yvonne Lynam and event co-Chairs Carol Mack and Peggy Siegal. Styler, a yoga devotee for 22 years, said she practices in the park “even at this time of the year. I like to take my mat under a tree and do my practice there.”
