Sean Parker’s wedding whimsy

Tech mogul Sean Parker says that just because “Lord of the Rings” designer Ngila Dickson is making duds for his nuptials, we shouldn’t expect his wedding party to be dressed as wizards, elves, orcs and fantasy-loving dorks. “This is not a ‘theme’ wedding, and there will be nothing medieval about it,” Facebook co-founder and Spotify investor Parker tweeted after we recently revealed that his early June wedding to petite singer Alexandra Lenas could have a medieval vibe after scroll-like “save the dates” were sent out. Parker elaborated that Dickson has “created a series of outfits . . . based on modern suits and dresses with some elements of Victorian flair and whimsy; however they are not at all ‘medieval.’ ” Page Six has seen a sketch of the elegant suit Dickson has designed for Parker, and we’d approximate it as equal parts romantic “Wind in the Willows” and Dr. Watson with a twist of “Hobbit” character Bilbo Baggins. Parker also tweeted of the costumes for the day: “Just because we don’t trust our guests to dress themselves properly doesn’t mean we want them to look like #GoT [‘Game of Thrones’] characters.” They probably could have simply added the line, “No Hoodies,” to their invite to give their Silicon Valley pals the sartorial message. Meanwhile, we hear that his fiancée has dyed her hair silver for the wedding bash, and has ordered some custom-made waist-length extensions in a matching silver shade.
