Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are back together in New York City after nearly a month apart, and by the looks of the photos, they’ve seen happier days.
The rapper has been holed up in Paris recording his new album while his LA-based girlfriend has been riding out her pregnancy alone, but the two reunited at his New York apartment yesterday. Kim was coincidentally in the city with her family for a meeting at the E! headquarters, according to reports.
After landing stateside, the reality star went on a shopping spree in SoHo with her baby daddy in tow. West appeared to be bored as he trailed Kardashian around the Big Apple shopping district.
It’s unclear if West was just down in the dumps that day, but he was definitely in a better mood when he met up with his pal, Jay-Z. The longtime collaborators openly embraced and looked delighted to be reunited.
Kardashian recently opened up about her painful pregnancy during her E! special with Ryan Seacrest.
“I was waiting for this amazing experience where I could just do whatever I want, eat whatever I want, feel great, and it just hasn’t been that way,” she said between sniffles. “I haven’t had morning sickness, so I’ve heard that I’m really lucky, and I feel lucky [but] it’s just really painful everywhere.”
While her pregnancy has been difficult, the recently divorced E! star is optimistic about walking down the aisle again. “I do think I would get married again,” Kardashian told Seacrest.
Kardashian finalized her split with Kris Humphries just last week after a year-and-a-half-long battle.
