Khloe Kardashian will not be returning as co-host of the high-profile Fox show, “The X Factor.”
The Post exclusively reported back in February that the singing competition would no longer be keeping up with the Kardashian. “They are asking Mario [Lopez] to come back, but not Khloe,” an insider said.
Kardashian came to the show with no TV hosting experience and often appeared nervous and unprepared on camera.
Fox confirmed The Post’s scoop today. “Khloe Kardashian will not be returning to co-host The X Factor,” said the show’s producers in a statement. “We really enjoyed working with her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
“I’m thrilled Mario is back for Season Three of ‘The X Factor,’” said Simon Cowell in a statement. “Hosting a live show and keeping the judges – especially Demi [Lovato] – in line, is not an easy job, but Mario is a pro and we are glad he’s coming back.”
It is unclear if Lopez will be hosting solo. So far, Cowell and Lovato are coming back to judge contestants for season three. Britney Spears exited the show in January and L.A. Reid bailed in December.
