Ryan Lochte wants to ‘bring swimming awareness’ with new show

According to Ryan Lochte, there are many things about swimming we need to be aware of, which is exactly why we should watch his show, “What Would Ryan Lochte Do.”

The Olympic champ stopped by the “Late Show with David Letterman” last night to plug his new E! series that follows the poolside party boy on his real-life adventures.

When the late-night host asked why the swimmer agreed to do a reality show, the athlete’s response was classic Lochte.

“After the Olympics, people tend to just forget about swimming….Yeah but um, I just want to bring swimming into everyone’s living room, so bringing swimming awareness.”

Lochte’s panache with expression recently left “Good Day Philadelphia” news anchors Sheinelle Jones and Mike Jerrick buckling over with laughter. When asked what pickup line would get his attention, Lochte’s response was six seconds of pure silence that seemed to last a lifetime on live TV.

After Lochte signed off, the anchors could no longer hold it together and burst out laughing. “Seriously, how are they gonna get enough material [for an entire season]?” Jerrick asked.

Jones was brought to tears and could barely speak – she finally managed to spit out, “He is good-looking.”
