Adam Richman’s #thinspiration gets his show canceled

Adam Richman, the former star and host of “Man vs. Food,” found his latest series on the chopping block Wednesday morning.

Richman, 40, got into a social media spat with a woman after he Instagrammed a picture saying, “Had ordered this suit from a Saville Row tailor over a year ago. Think I’m gonna need to take it in a little #thinspiration.”

One of his followers didn’t appreciate his hashtag, reports The Guardian. One user said the term “glorifies negative media self-imagery that being thin is better as opposed to any other body style.”

Richman snapped back with “DILLIGAF,” which means, “Does it look like I give a f—k?”

He went on to trash another commenter, “Oh eat a bag of s—t, dummy. No apology is coming. If it inspires someone to attain a healthy thinner body then that was what it was meant to do. Only f–k up it seems was your dad’s choice to go without a condom.”

He said to another user, “grab a razor blade and draw a bath. I doubt anyone will miss you.”

Richman soon deleted the comments and wrote an apology on Instagram.

He also issued an official statement to ABC. “I’ve long struggled with my body image and have worked very hard to achieve a healthy weight,” said Richman, adding that he’s sorry for his “inexcusable remarks.”

Richman’s new show “Man Finds Food,” which was set to debut on Wednesday, has been postponed by the Travel Channel.

Richman’s initial target, Amber Sarah, says she wants the food star to participate in walks with eating disorder groups and donate money, reports TMZ.
