Palm Beach’s last big social event of the season — the Preservation Foundation’s Annual Dinner Dance — channeled legendary New York nightclub El Morocco on Friday.

Among 400 guests at the Breakers Venetian Ballroom were Duke of Marlborough John Spencer-Churchill, Rudy Giuliani, former Canadian prime minister Brian Mulroney, Wilbur and Hilary Ross, Pauline Pitt, William and Kathy Rayner and Robert Nederlander and Patricia Cook.

Also on the scene at the Van Cleef & Arpels-sponsored shindig was Jim Mitchell, who repped the original El Morocco, known for its blue zebra-stripe motif and clientele including Truman Capote and Marilyn Monroe.
