One lucky theatergoer grabbed the bloody towel Rocky Balboa tossed aside at the end of “Rocky” the musical and was able to persuade Sly Stallone to sign it later at the opening-night party at Roseland. “eBay, here we come,” laughed the unidentified fan.
Stallone was in a great mood, having enjoyed the show — especially when Apollo Creed and his entourage came down the aisle at the Winter Garden for the big finale. Stallone stood up with Graydon Carter and the rest of the audience.
“Sly was very animated,” said someone who was right across the aisle, “except for the granite of his face.”
