Tech’s night out: Twitter’s Jack Dorsey and girlfriend hit Time 100

The Time 100 Gala attracted the most influential in the entertainment, media and political worlds — but also some of tech’s top couples, including Twitter founder Jack Dorsey and his girlfriend, Kate Greer.

Dorsey and Greer, the global director of social media and digital strategy for fashion brand Alice + Olivia, attended Tuesday’s gala together, and were seated with venture capitalist Vivi Nevo and Martha Stewart at Time Warner Center’s Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Meanwhile, Google’s Eric Schmidt, who is still married to wife Wendy but has been linked to a host of women, attended the gala with glamorous brunette Bengi Korkmaz, a partner at McKinsey & Company’s Istanbul office.

Schmidt and Korkmaz were seen mingling with Ruzwana Bashir, founder and CEO of travel company Peek.com, who arrived with Time 100 honoree Ben Rattray, founder and CEO of petition site Change.org.

Uber co-founder Travis Kalanick, another honoree, arrived with violinist Gabi Holzwarth at the event to honor the most influential people of 2014.

While Beyoncé was named the issue’s cover star, plenty of other luminaries added their star power to the evening.

Enjoying performances from Pharrell Williams and Carrie Underwood were Seth Meyers, Amy Adams, Susan Sarandon, Gayle King, Nets forward Jason Collins, Harvey Weinstein and Georgina Chapman, Matt Lauer, Frank Ocean, Oscar-winning “Gravity” director Alfonso Cuaron, Katie Couric, Megyn Kelly, Barbara Walters, Sir Howard Stringer, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and politicos including Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, Gov. Scott Walker and Sen. Rand Paul.
