Laura Prepon is not leaving “Orange Is the New Black,” says show creator Jenji Kohan.
“She’s not [leaving]. She’s in the show,” she told reporters at the Time 100 Gala, adding that Prepon will appear in fewer episodes of the Netflix series next season.
Kohan continued, “[Laura] was busy, so she wasn’t in [the new season] as much as we would have liked, and as she would have liked. But we schedule around it, and we get her when we can have her, and hopefully we’ll have her more.”
Kohan says Prepon continues to get the most fan mail of the cast: “Everybody loves Alex. Everyone is hoping [Prepon will] switch teams in real life, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.”
