Hollywood’s most famous bachelor, George Clooney, is reportedly back on the market after splitting with his girlfriend of two years.
According to reports, 33-year-old Stacy Keibler was the one to pull the plug.
“Stacy called it quits. She wants to have children and a family someday. She knows where George stands on that,” a source close to the couple told People magazine. “They talked and they quietly stopped being a couple several weeks ago.”
The source said that they remain on good terms, adding that they “talk every day.”
A second source added that they have also spent a lot of time apart in recent months.
“They haven’t seen each other in a while and they’ve both been working so much, so in recent months, they’ve started growing apart.”
However sources tell Page Six that it was Clooney who broke off the relationship, asking her to move her things out of his Hollywood mansion a few weeks ago. One source said, “He is happy for people to think she broke it off in order to save her any embarrassment.”
Indeed, over July Fourth weekend, Clooney, 52, and his pals were spotted in Lake Como in Italy while the blonde beauty was in Malibu.
