WATCH: Brian Williams apologizes for wiping New Hampshire off the map

Brian Williams issued a full-on apology for leaving off the state of New Hampshire on a map featured in a “NBC Nightly News” report on Monday.

After complaints from eagle-eyed viewers and US senator Kelly Ayotte, the veteran anchor issued a “mea culpa” and blamed the graphics department for the slip.

“New Hampshire was lost by our graphics department, it has since been found and put back,” Williams said over an image of the corrected map.

He then proceeded to list several interesting facts about the Granite State, for having the country’s best motto (“Live free or die”), Seth Meyers and the inventors of Tupperware and paper towels.
