Miley Cyrus’ parents call off divorce – again

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus – parents to pop star Miley Cyrus – are giving their marriage another shot.

“We both woke up and realized we love each other and decided we want to stay together,” they said in a statement to People. “We both went into couples therapy something we haven’t done in 22 years of being together, and it’s brought us closer together and really opened up our communication in amazing ways.”

“Tish also said marriage can be really hard especially after 22 years of being in entertainment. We’ve had rough times but we both realized we didn’t want to be another statistic and wanted to make it work.”

Tish even posted an Instagram photo with the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer Saturday night with the caption, “Date Night.”

Tish filed divorce papers last month, citing irreconcilable differences.

The couple have been married for 19 years and have five children together, including their singer daughter Miley, 20, Braison, 10, Noah, 13, as well as Brandi, 26, and Trace, 24, from Tish’s first marriage.

Billy Ray first filed for divorce in the fall of 2010, but withdrew the petition a few months later, saying he wanted to work on the marriage.
