After Oprah Winfrey was snubbed by the Academy Awards as Best Supporting Actress Thursday morning, the category’s presumptive winner, Lupita Nyong’o, was seen introducing herself to Winfrey that night at the Critics’ Choice Awards in Santa Monica.

A spy said the “12 Years a Slave” star was “tapping Oprah on the shoulder and gushing how much of a fan she is.”

Winfrey then “held Lupita in a long embrace and even posed for a selfie with her.”
