Former TV exec David Neuman cleared in Hollywood sex ring lawsuits

One of the men Michael Egan accused of being part of a Hollywood sex ring that preyed on teenage boys has seen his name quietly dropped from the sex abuse case.
Former television executive David Neuman is no longer included in the group of lawsuits filed against “X-Men: Days of Future Past” director Bryan Singer and other showbiz figures in April, reports TMZ.
In May, it was revealed that Egan declared in 2003, under penalty of perjury, that Neuman had never touched him.
“I have never had any kind of physical contact with David Neuman other than what is normal and appropriate between non-sexual acquaintances,” Egan said at the time.
A copy of the document was included in a motion to dismiss the case filed by the exec’s attorney in Hawaii later that month.

Neither Egan nor his lawyer, Jeff Herman, could be reached for comment by the website.
In April, Egan filed a lawsuit accusing Singer of sexually abusing him in Encino, Calif., and Hawaii when Egan was just a teenager. A week later, he filed more suits accusing Neuman, former Fox television executive Garth Ancier and theater producer Gary Wayne Goddard of molesting him.
