Walmart heiress Paige Laurie Dubbert’s ex-husband claims she cheated on him and is falsely accusing him of stealing thousands of dollars.
Paige, whose mother inherited a multibillion-dollar chunk of the Walmart fortune, filed for divorce on March 7 to end her five-year marriage to Patrick Bode Dubbert, citing irreconcilable differences.
She also filed a civil lawsuit, in which she accuses Patrick of stealing from their Malibu retail-center business.
According to a new report, legal documents reveal Patrick has accused Paige — granddaughter of Bud Walton, the brother and business partner of Walmart founder Sam Walton — of cheating on him last year.
He also alleges that her claims he was overpaying himself $250,000 a year and funneling him and a friend $70,000 a month in contracting fees through their business were a smoke screen to “spin an image of Paige to the media as a victim.”
But sources close to Paige say his allegation of infidelity was “fabricated, baseless, pathetic and desperate,” in a bid to grab more of her millions.
