Rumors that Gwyneth Paltrow was throwing a rival Oscars party to scuttle Vanity Fair’s continued to be the buzz of Hollywood over the weekend.
Word spread that Paltrow planned a secret, exclusive affair at the Sunset Tower Hotel, where VF held its party for the past five years.
But sources close to the actress shot down the rumor, saying it was just ongoing gossip from the now-buried feud with the magazine, which began when Paltrow warned friends not to participate in a feature on her.
