Frazzled assistants have legendarily been on the hot seat in Harvey and Bob Weinstein’s offices — but Monday, the entire staff was evacuated from one of the brothers’ Tribeca buildings when a real fire broke out.
A witness told Page Six, “The Weinstein Company’s offices were evacuated at 99 Hudson because of a fire. They’re all on the street, including Bob Weinstein.”
A harried staffer joked, “They’re thinking of taking safety in Taylor Swift’s [Tribeca] loft.”
The building is also home to popular restaurant Tamarind Tribeca.
A FDNY rep said the fire was “extinguished, largely by the building’s sprinkler system” and there was “minor flooding in the basement.”
