“Captain America” star Anthony Mackie doesn’t get the Hamptons.
“I went once. I was like, ‘Why do people come here?’ ” he told us Tuesday.
The Juilliard-trained actor wanted “a quiet house on a beach and playing golf in the evenings. [But I] was the only person that wanted to do that. Everybody was like, ‘Let’s drink Champagne on a boat!’ It was like Miami in New York.”
He incredulously added, “People are playing polo. Who plays polo?”
He’s prepping to play Jimi Hendrix in a biopic.
