Badgely Mischka fouders’ narrow escape

Badgley Mischka founders Mark Badgley and James Mischka’s home in Locust Valley, LI, was hit by two trees during the hurricane. We’re told the famed designers were shaken up but not hurt when the trees crashed down onto their historic house. A source says Cornelia Guest came to the rescue: “A tree fell on their house, and Cornelia had to go and rescue them and their dogs. They were able to walk out, and headed to Cornelia’s family house, Templeton, a few miles away in Old Westbury, which has no electricity.” Guest has put Templeton on the market for nearly $12 million. A Badgley Mischka spokesman said: “Mark and James’ historic home that they just finished renovating was hit by 2 trees that smashed through the roof. Cornelia came to the rescue and they are taking refuge with her at Templeton with their 2 dachshunds (which in addition to Cornelia’s 8 dogs makes a very happy pack of 10!) They are fine and feeling very lucky to be so.” Guest didn’t answer calls last night.
