The finishing touches are being put on glittering celebrity New Year’s Eve bashes in Switzerland, St. Barts and beyond.

Arena rockers Kings of Leon will play billionaire Roman Abramovich and art luminary Dasha Zhukova’s annual bash to ring in 2013, we hear. The private gig’s taking place in a giant tent erected on Abramovich’s sprawling St. Barts estate at Gouverneur Beach.

Sources say the couple is flying in the “Sex on Fire” singers as well as their entourage of glam wives: Drummer Nathan Followill and musician Jessie Baylin welcomed their first child this week, and singer Caleb Followill has a tot with Victoria’s Secret beauty Lily Aldridge.

Guests expected include Sean “Diddy” Combs, Larry Gagosian and ubiquitous hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons. Missing in action, though, will be Naomi Campbell. We hear the supermodel had to cancel her St. Barts plans thanks to the leg injury that forced her to hobble around and be wheeled to bashes at Art Basel.

To another island paradise: Guests celebrating at Round Hill Hotel & Villas in Jamaica include Ralph and Ricky Lauren, Lorne Michaels, Salman Rushdie, Andrew Wylie, Paul
Soros, John Avedon and decorator Miles Redd.

Meanwhile, mountain men Valentino and Giancarlo Giammetti will host a bash at the luxe members-only Eagle Ski Club in their usual stomping ground of Gstaad in the Swiss Alps, we hear. “It is the most highfalutin spot in Gstaad,” says an Alpine spy, adding the bash will include fireworks on private Wasserngrat Mountain. The hosts have been seen in the Swiss ski town this week with their gaggle of pugs. Roman Polanski and Emmanuelle Seigner were also spotted.

An exclusive mountain bash closer to home will double as an opening for hip Colorado ski lodge Wildwood Snowmass. Expected guests include Arden Wohl and Grey Area’s Kyle DeWoody. DJ Kid America will spin tunes at the 1960s lodge that’s been renovated by new firm Reunion and fitted with contempo art, a beer hall and a glow-in-the-dark arcade.
