Hugh Hefner must have ended 2012 in a forgiving mood because he married his one time runaway bride girlfriend Crystal Harris last night at the Playboy Mansion.
“Today is the day I become Mrs. Hugh Hefner. Feeling very happy, lucky, and blessed,” Harris tweeted early yesterday.
In a ceremony for a small group of friends and family the forever young Hefner married 26-year-old ex-Playmate Crystal Harris just 18-months after their planned June 2011 wedding, according to TMZ.
Harris called off the couple’s 2011 gala wedding just five days before it was set to take place and later said that sex with the aging lothario lasted “like two seconds.”
Adding insult to injury, Harris was the covergirl for Playboy’s July 2011 edition and there wasn’t enough time to reprint the magazine which carried the cover line “Introducing Mrs. Crystal Hefner.” The magazine went out as planned but a “Runaway Bride” sticker was added.
Harris becomes Hefner’s third wife.
