Perhaps Clippers star Lamar Odom fell asleep in court today because he was up last night pulling a fast break from his brother-in-law Kris Humphries at Catch restaurant.
Odom dined at the Meatpacking District hotspot Monday night with his wife, “X Factor” co-host Khloe Kardashian, the sister of Humphries’ estranged wife, Kim.
The couple arrived at the restaurant at the same time Humphries was dining there with friends.
A spy told us: “Kris showed up around 10 p.m. He hung out at the bar before being seated for dinner. He was initially with a few friends, but their table grew as the night went on.”
Then, we’re told, Odom and Kardashian walked into Catch, unaware that Humphries, who was already seated, was in the restaurant.
“The pair sat at the opposite end of the main dining room, and never spoke to or engaged with Kris,” a spy told us.
At one point, Humphries and his group stood up to switch tables. That’s when the couple noticed Humphries. Kardashian was then seen furiously texting on her phone.
Humphries, spies said, “seemed unfazed and enjoyed his meal with his friends.”
On Tuesday morning, Odom was in a New York courtroom battling ex-wife Liza Morales over custody of their two kids, daughter Destiny, 9, and son Lamar Jr., 5. But while his lawyers hashed out the details, the six-foot-ten inch Odom was caught napping on a bench outside the courtroom. A court officer said, “I need you to sit up.”
Odom complied, then slumped over again.
