Dennis Rodman plans to broker North Korean-US peace: report

Dennis Rodman is reportedly trying to do something that hasn’t been achieved in decades – broker peace between the US and North Korea.

Rodman’s publicist tells TMZ that The Worm is planning a second trip to the DPRK in the next six months, and securing peace between his new pal Kim Jong Un and President Obama would be the NBA legend’s greatest achievement.

The aspiring diplomat allegedly wants to use his new odd-couple friendship with the Outstanding Leader to forge peace and convince Kim Jong Un to engage in talks with the president.

Rodman, who raised many eyebrows when he visited the Communist leader with members of the Harlem Globetrotters, recently went on news programs to encourage more relations between the two countries.

He appeared on “This Week” with George Stephanopoulos on Sunday to talk about his trip.

“He loves basketball,” Rodman said of Kim. “Obama loves basketball. Let’s start there. Let’s start there.”

Stephanopoulos then called out Kim’s human rights abuses and threats toward America.

“Guess what?” Rodman said. “He doesn’t want war. One thing he doesn’t want is that.”

Since coming back to the states, Rodman has been made aware of North Korea’s human rights and international treaty violations. The rep tells TMZ that Rodman is deeply sorry for offending anyone.
