The tables have turned on Jennifer Lopez. The former “American Idol” judge is trying to make it through the interview process…so her kids can get into a fancy private school.

TMZ reports that JLo is interviewing to get her 5-year-old twins, Emme and Max, into elite educational institutions in the Los Angeles Area for preschool.

The gossip site reports that on Tuesday, Lopez and her kids were dressed to impress admissions officers at the posh Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley.

Buckley is considered by some to be one of the best and most competitive schools in the area, and counts Rob and Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, Bret Easton Ellis and Rashida Jones as alums. Paris Jackson, daughter of the late King of Pop, currently attends.

The stunning 43-year-old will be paying a pretty penny for Max and Emme’s education. It costs $31,345 per child in tuition and fees to attend the school from kindergarten through fifth grade, according to the Buckley School’s Web site. It increases to $36,335 per child during grades six through 12.
