Everyone’s Irish in Palm Beach on St. Patrick’s Day, as sun worshippers party before the winter season ends. “It’s one of the most celebrated holidays in Palm Beach,” an insider says. “Everyone wears green, the restaurants are jam-packed and the parties go until the wee hours.” We hear local deli TooJays, known for Reubens and chicken noodle soup, serves corned beef and cabbage. Hot spots hit by emerald fever include Bice, the Everglades Club, the Bath and Tennis Club and Table 26, which will have a St. Paddy’s dinner with green hats and shamrocks. Also buzzing will be Michael R. McCarty’s, which will have bagpipes. But the ritzy Palm Beach Country Club’s party will oddly feature an all-French menu.
