Gloria Gaynor’s disco surprise

Disco queen Gloria Gaynor gave true meaning to singing for your supper. She took the mike in the middle of crooner Gianni Russo’s weekly Wednesday night performance at the Four Seasons restaurant. Gaynor was pulled from her table by Russo and belted out “Killing Me Softly” and “My Funny Valentine” in perfect harmony, prompting diners to stand from their tables and snap photos and video with their cellphones. Russo, 69, who played Carlo Rizzi in “The Godfather,” told us his secret to being able to perform a three-hour set weekly with vigor: “Wine.”
