Gwyneth Paltrow admits she had miscarriage, ‘nearly died’

Gwyneth Paltrow admitted in a heartbreaking interview that she miscarried a third child, which would have been a younger sibling to her children Apple and Moses.

“My children ask me to have a baby all the time. And you never know, I could squeeze one more in. I am missing my third,” the 40-year-old actress told The Mail’s You magazine.

“I had a really bad experience when I was pregnant with my third. It didn’t work out and I nearly died. So I am like, ‘Are we good here, or should we go back and try again?’”

The Oscar-winner did not elaborate about when she experienced her pregnancy troubles.

She confessed that she feels “very broody” when she sees her friend Beyonce with her daughter Blue Ivy. Beyonce also suffered a miscarriage before becoming a mother.

“I was a mom before Beyonce so I suppose I may have passed on some advice but I have learned so much from her too,” she said.

Paltrow, who is currently promoting her new recipe book “It’s All Good,” also said in the interview that her marriage to Chris Martin is “complicated” and called him her “co-parent.”

The “Iron Man” star, who has been married since 2003, told the publication that their relationship was “complicated,” adding, “Regardless of what happens in our marriage, I chose the best father. We are committed co-parents, we make all decisions together, and we lean on each other for support as well.”
