The Duchess of Cambridge and a fully recovered Queen arrived on Baker Street in London today to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the London Underground.

For Kate’s short spin on the Tube with her royal grandmother-in-law, London Underground’s chief operating officer Howard Collins presented her with a “Baby on board” badge to wear.

The button is given to pregnant women to don so others in the subway car know to they should offer their seats.

Observers reportedly laughed as Collins handed her the gift. The mom-to-be held it against her coat and joked, “I’ll make sure I wear it at home.”

Collins told the Daily Mail afterwards, “Kate said ‘Oh yes, I’ve seen this before.’ She used to travel on the Tube so she probably saw them then.”

The Duchess wore a teal Malene Birger coat dress with a black hat for the outing with the Queen, who appears to be recovering well after being hospitalized with a bout of the flu.
