Eliot Spitzer drew a crowd of heavy hitters to a soiree at his Fifth Avenue apartment supporting Massachusetts Congressman Ed Markey. He was joined by two of his friends of over 40 years who started as students at Horace Mann, attorneys Jason Brown and Herb Nass. The legal eagles were chatting with real estate mogul Henry Elghanayan, chief executive of Rockrose Development, and former chairman of the YES network Leo Hindery. In a sign that he may be dipping a toe back into politics, the former New York governor and his wife, Silda Spitzer, threw an up-to- $5,200-a-head fund-raiser for Markey, who is running for the Massachusetts seat vacated by new Secretary of State John Kerry.
