Sure, Jenny McCarthy has talk show duties and a son to raise, but the always outspoken Playboy model was happy to spill to Page Six how she, ahem, also takes time for herself.
After “Real Housewives of Miami” star Joanna Krupa shared to us how she has a “sex clause” of two to three times a week with her fiancé, Romain Zago, McCarthy quipped, “Personally I can’t do it.”
However, the currently single star added, “As a female who can take care of herself, I’ll make sure I’m taken care of two to three times a week, by myself.”
McCarthy, 40, told us at the Durex-hosted event at the Dream Downtown last night that she partnered with the condom company when they explained to her it was all about love.
“Their campaign is about liberating couples,” she said. “It’s really important to open up sexually. Sometimes [it means] bringing in some toys.”
Outside of work and pleasure, McCarthy is busy raising her 10-year-old son, Evan, and admitted that being a celebrity parent comes with a unique set of challenges. Interestingly, she said that her son gets “hurt” when he doesn’t get his share of the attention.
“Recently he said to me, ‘It really hurts my feelings when people come up to me and say Jenny, I love you! and they don’t tell me that,’” she said. “Now I understand why children of a celebrity go off the deep end because it’s not addressed.”
The mom sat down with her young son and explained, “Honey, fame is not all it’s cracked up to be. I get the ‘I hate yous’ as much as ‘I love yous.’”
The “Jenny McCarthy Show” host told us she’s been pushing her son away from the spotlight. She said they even moved from Los Angeles to Chicago after Evan got into a fight with a paparazzo.
Happy to be back in her hometown, the talk-show host beamed about how Evan now has “15 friends, and 14 frogs, a dog, a backyard and a creek.”
