A Host of big names are lining up to perform at this summer’s Apollo in the Hamptons event. We’re told that Lenny Kravitz will take the stage at Ron Perelman’s East Hampton estate the Creeks on Aug. 24, along with Pharrell Williams, the Roots, Darlene Love and a few other surprise guests. Kravitz is also starring in the Weinstein Company movie “The Butler,” which is due for release just days before. Performers at last year’s event, including the Isley Brothers, Usher, Jennifer Hudson, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora and Paul McCartney, helped raise more than $2 million for education programs at the famed Apollo Theater in Harlem.
