To say “The Vampire Diaries'” second season raised the bar in terms of what I expect from an hour-long drama would be the biggest understatement since my sister called Ian Somerhalder “decent looking.”
Decent looking. Can you believe that?!?
Without succumbing to hyperbole, I think it’s safe to say that the last 22 episodes have provided some of the most heart-racing, eyeball wetting, skin-crawling, nail-biting, cringe/swoon-worthy moments of any show currently on television.
