Natalie Portman has had a very busy 2011, both off — winning a Golden Globe, a SAG and an Academy Award for “Black Swan,” taking home various best dressed trophies for her pregnancy style on each red carpet — and on the big screen. And given the fact three of her other projects had much higher profiles (“No Strings Attached,” “Thor” & “Your Highness”) it’s no surprise that this January release got lost in the shuffle. But it is a shame.
“The Other Woman” continues to offer up wonderful examples of why Natalie’s Oscar was well-deserved and long overdue as she inspires awe throughout this complex tale of infidelity, grief and love.
