Kate Middleton’s parents made a six-figure contribution to their daughter’s upcoming wedding, according to a new report.
Traditionally, the royal family pays for the wedding, but “It is something [the Middletons] absolutely wanted to do, and William graciously accepted,” an aide told Vanity Fair.
The article also reveals other little-known details about the Middleton family. The three children are reportedly so close that they’ve been dubbed “the En Masse Middletons.”
Friends told the magazine that Kate’s sister Pippa is a great networker, while brother James is “very good-looking and likes to flirt.”
Meanwhile, Kate’s mother, Carole Middleton, is “is always very relaxed, lively, and outgoing,” while Michael, Kate’s father, is a “stabilizing influence,” helping Kate to keep her feet on the ground.
