I find it hard to argue with the choices Jennifer Westfeldt makes in life. “Kissing Jessica Stein” is one of the aughts funniest comedies, she snuck in on “24’s” final days and has been with Jon Hamm for nearly a decade. Quite sound selections, if you ask me.
But I’m having trouble wrapping my brain around her latest decision.
For her directorial debut, “Friends with Kids,” Jennifer has assembled a fantastic team of actors, including Jon Hamm, Kristin Wiig, Adam Scott and … Megan Fox?
Yep, you read that right.
The movie revolves around a couple (Jennifer & Adam) who see the toll having a kid has taken on their friends (Jon & Kristin) so although they decide to still have a baby they also decide to maintain an open relationship. Hence, Megan Fox. She plays the woman Adam dates in order to make Jennifer’s character jealous.
If you notice, Jennifer doesn’t let her real life boyfriend fake-date Megan in the film. Told ya the lady makes wise decisions.
