Whatever happens at the box office against “The Wolverine” this weekend, Woody Allen’s “Blue Jasmine” seems to be No. 1 in power players’ private screening rooms. According to sources, prints of the film — starring Cate Blanchett as a broke Park Avenue socialite reeling after a Madoff-like scandal perpetrated by her husband, played by Alec Baldwin — have been requested by Tom Cruise and Hugh Hefner, as well as director Ivan Reitman, billionaire Ron Perelman and Hollywood moguls Brad Grey, Alan Horn, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Sherry Lansing and Ron Meyer. The Sony Pictures Classics film premiered at MoMA in New York last week, and also screened at BAM.
