Just in case the end of this post gets all jittery and doesn’t make sense, I’m prefacing it by admitting that my fingers are shaking and my face feels like a unicorn peed glitter on it.

See, I’m already not making sense — but my main point is get ready to hear some mutherlovin’ magic.

Earlier today, PopWrap got an exclusive listen to “Hands,” the first new single from The Tings Tings new album, which hits stores this winter. Cut to Jarett & I, 10-minutes later, staring at each other like two kids who just saw boobies for the first time. The synths and vocals on the track feel like something out of Ace of Bass’ wet dream, while the main essence that makes Jules and Katie (The Ting Tings) shine, comes through in the most glorious of ways.

Most of the time sophomore albums find artists somewhere in a talent lacking limbo, but “Hands” will no-doubt make these two musicians pop legends. I’m talking Freddy Mercury type shiz … Yea I said it.

If you know the Ting Tings — and why the hell wouldn’t you — then you are aware of their brilliant pop-drums sounds that live in their hits “That’s Not My Name” and “Shut Up and Let me Go.” But the gang hasn’t released any new material in over two years and after touring with P!nk, taking some time to chill the mess out, they decided to give us the exclusive first listen (now with Bonus video chopping action!) and permission to share.

Check out the adorable video shot by Katie and Jules of the Ting Tings below, and give their new single “Hands” (mixed by label mate Calvin Harris!) a listen. Commence freak-out in 3 … 2 …1.
