Arguments in the PopWrap HQ span a plethora of topics. From who’s the Blair and who’s the Serena to who should pay for coffee that day. But the biggest beef of the bunch is if Eminem deserves his countless musical accolades.

I think no while Jarett says yes on that last one

However, after hearing Eminem’s new song “Love The Way You Lie,” which features the amazing vocal talents of Rihanna, I may have to retire my opinion entirely. While some may hear Rihanna on the track and think she’s straining for air, remember what she is actually singing about, then decide if her imperfect vocals are on purpose.

The Rihanna track joins other collaborations from Pink, Kobe and Lil Wayne in filling out the seventeen tracks on Eminem’s “Recovery” album, out June 22. If each song has as much emotional power as this single does, I may need to start writing an apology letter to Eminem.

Give the track a listen below and as an extra lil’ bonus, check out his new video for “Not Afraid,” the first single from “Recovery.”
