It takes a real man to upstage Channing Tatum and I’m just as surprised as you that Jamie Bell is that man — mostly since we all still think of him as a boy. I guess that’s the downside to playing the most adorable boxer-turned-ballerina in cinema history.
But Jamie Bell is no longer taking ‘ball-ay” as the title character in “Billy Elliot.” He’s now 23-years-old and starring alongside Chan in 2010’s “The Eagle of the Ninth.” In the 2nd Century set epic, the boys go on a journey to uncover the truth about a long lost Roman battalion called The Ninth Legion.
Oh, and did I mention that Jamie plays Channing’s slave in the film? Yea … I’m just going to let that one marinate for a while.
