Given Joss Whedon’s penchant for telling stories that emphasize the importance of remembering the past, it’s no surprise to see him repeatedly utilize many of the same actors. Last season, “Dollhouse” fans welcomed “Buffy’s” Eliza Dushku, “Angel’s” Amy Acker and “Firefly’s” Alan Tudyk with open arms. This year, “Firefly’s” Summer Glau checks in for her second series while Alexis Denisof — who started as Wesley Wyndam-Pryce on “Buffy” and ended (literally) on “Angel” — gets lucky number three.
When I interviewed Eliza last week (still recovering), I wondered how long it would be until fans got to see Faith reunite on screen with her former watcher. “Not long at all,” she said — little did I know how soon it would actually be!
In these just released snaps from the Oct. 30 episode, titled “The Public Eye,” Echo is tasked to stop Sen. Perrin from exposing the Rossum Corp. as the dollars behind the dolls.
