Aby Rosen ambushed over Picasso

Aby Rosen had an awkward run-in with a regular at the Four Seasons restaurant over the much-in-the-news Picasso painting “Le Tricorne,” which hangs in a corridor of the restaurant.

Rosen had lunch at the Four Seasons Thursday afternoon with German architect Annabelle Selldorf, but a man interrupted the real estate mogul while he spoke with co-owner Julian Niccolini.

The clueless diner asked, “Who is this idiot who’s planning to take down the Picasso?”

Niccolini, pointing to Rosen, said, “He’s right here! He owns the building.”

The painting was scheduled to be removed, allegedly to make repairs on the wall, last Sunday, but is staying put thanks to a judge’s temporary restraining order.
