Music mogul Tommy Mottola, who’s currently working on a number of Broadway projects, had a special guest at his Tuesday night table at fabled uptown Italian restaurant Rao’s.
Jimmy Fallon joined Tommy, and after Rao’s owner Frank Pellegrino confiscated all mobile phones, Fallon, Mottola and Pellegrino started singing doo-wop classics of the ’50s and ’60s.
The entire restaurant joined them in “Under the Boardwalk” — but sadly no one has a recording of it on any phone.
