Stars party at Vanity Fair’s relocated Oscars bash

Oscar night’s hottest ticket, the Vanity Fair party, relocated this year to accommodate a larger guest list — but 160 VIPs made the cut to a super exclusive awards screening before the starry throngs arrived.

Spotted at the dinner with food by Per Se’s Thomas Keller were Bruce Willis, Sofia Vergara and “Game of Thrones” babe Emilia Clarke along with old guard stars Anjelica Huston, Shirley MacLaine and Don Rickles, power execs Barry Diller and Les Moonves, designers Tom Ford and Carolina Herrera, rock gods Adam Levine and Jimmy Iovine and art stars Bruce Weber and Larry Gagosian.

Inside a 12,000-square-foot space near Sunset Plaza, a clubby, circular dining room was built for the dinner, with wood-paneled walls and 65-inch flatscreens for awards viewing from creme-colored banquettes.

Table settings included an engraved lighter with the quote “The director is always right” by director George Cukor on one side and “The public is never wrong” by studio boss Adolph Zukor on the other.

Judd Apatow mixed with a cadre of his usual actors, including wife Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd and Seth Rogen.
